HUMAN Hub provided trainer and expert services for the Manager Development Program for Youth Workers, a multi-track capacity-building initiative organized by NAYORA with support from the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The program was held within the framework of the national "Heydar Aliyev Year" and targeted different management roles across Azerbaijan's youth organization sector.
The program consisted of several training tracks, each designed for a specific audience within the youth sector.
The first track focused on project management fundamentals for representatives of youth organizations. Structured as a three-module course held at the Youth Organizations Resource Center, it covered project writing (delivered by Fakhri Mahammadzade) and project management and reporting (delivered by Tofig Sadikhov). Twenty youth organizations sent representatives to participate in this track.
The second track was a residential training course for PR managers from youth organizations, held in Shamakhi over August 6-9. The program aimed to strengthen participants' communications skills, social media proficiency, and press and media engagement capabilities. Over 40 youth organizations were represented. Sessions included a presentation on building PR operations within government institutions by Tahmina Hamidli, PR Manager of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation.
The third track was a development course for Secretary Generals and equivalent senior leaders, held in Guba with nearly 40 youth organizations in attendance. The program brought in speakers from across the public and private sectors, including Nurkhan Babayev (Head of Internal Communications at ABB) on motivation and employee performance, Vazeh Asgarov (Executive Director of the Azerbaijan-France University) on management fundamentals, and Hasan Hasanov (Azerbaijan's first Prime Minister) on leadership and decision-making factors. NAYORA Secretary General Ramin Habibzade led networking sessions and group work activities.
Participants across all tracks received certificates upon completion.
